At Cortalia, we transform raw materials into engineering precision solutions through our advanced fiber laser cutting technology. We operate a fleet of five state-of-the-art machines, with power levels reaching up to 30kW, designed to deliver exceptional production speed without compromising accuracy. Located in Coslada, Madrid, we serve as a strategic subcontracting partner for companies across the country, ensuring timely deliveries and optimized logistics.

The versatility of our laser cutting services extends to both sheet metal and tubes, covering a wide range of industrial needs. We can process thicknesses up to 30mm in steel and 50mm in stainless steel, utilizing nitrogen and oxygen assist gases to achieve clean, burr-free cuts on every piece. This integrated approach allows us to manage complex projects from design to finished product, all under one roof and with rigorous quality standards.

Precision is the cornerstone of our operation, with a cutting tolerance of +/-0.1mm that meets the most demanding requirements of modern industry. Our processes are certified under ISO 9001, EN 9100, and ISO 3834, ensuring that every manufactured component meets the quality and safety standards required for critical sectors like aerospace and nuclear energy. We are confident that our technical capability and experience make us the ideal partner for your supply chain.

As a specialized subcontracting company, we do not sell machines; instead, we offer comprehensive cutting, welding, and machining services to boost your production. Our team in Coslada is ready to handle variable volumes, from rapid prototyping to mass production series, adapting to your tightest delivery schedules. The investment in 13-meter x 3.5-meter infrastructure allows us to cut large-format pieces that other providers cannot handle, reducing the need for subsequent assembly.

The quality of our cuts is enhanced by the use of high-purity gases and cutting parameters optimized by the latest software. Whether you need cuts in carbon steel, stainless steel, or special alloys, our fiber laser technology ensures clean edges and excellent surface quality. This minimizes post-processing times and reduces final costs for our clients, offering a truly efficient and cost-effective subcontracting solution.

Our EN 9100 certification distinguishes us as a trusted provider for the aerospace sector, where traceability and process consistency are non-negotiable. In the nuclear and defense sectors, we apply the strict protocols of ISO 3834 to ensure the integrity of welds and cuts in critical structures. Cortalia positions itself as a subcontracting partner that understands the responsibilities and risks associated with manufacturing high-security components.

Agility in response is one of our greatest strengths, allowing our clients to launch products to market with reduced lead times. Thanks to our infrastructure in Madrid, we offer an agile subcontracting service that eliminates the logistical and communication barriers of international suppliers. Our commitment is to be an extension of your production department, integrating into your workflows to ensure the operational continuity of your business.

Frequently asked questions

What types of materials can you process on your laser cutting machines?
We process a wide variety of metallic materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and special alloys. Our fiber laser technology allows us to cut thicknesses up to 30mm in steel and 50mm in stainless steel, as well as cut tubes of various geometries with high precision.
Why should you choose Cortalia as a subcontracting partner instead of buying a machine?
As a subcontracting company, we focus on delivering finished parts with certified quality, not on selling equipment. This saves you the investment in machinery, maintenance, and staff training, allowing you to focus on your core business while we manage production with ISO 9001 and EN 9100 standards.
What quality certifications do you hold and in which sectors are they valid?
We hold ISO 9001 (Quality Management), EN 9100 (Aerospace), and ISO 3834 (Welding) certifications. These certifications enable us to work in critical sectors such as aerospace, nuclear energy, defense, and automotive, ensuring traceability and safety in every part.
What is the maximum sheet size you can cut at your Madrid facilities?
Our facilities in Coslada are equipped with machines capable of processing sheets up to 13 meters long by 3.5 meters wide. This allows us to manufacture large-format pieces that require continuous cutting without joints, optimizing the final assembly of your products.
How do you ensure precision and quality of cuts in production series?
We use high-purity assist gases (nitrogen and oxygen) and cutting parameters optimized by advanced software to achieve a tolerance of +/-0.1mm. Our engineering team supervises every batch to ensure it strictly meets technical specifications and required quality standards.
